Australia's home-grown flash sale is arriving early this year. Click Frenzy's Main Event 2026 runs Tuesday 27 to Friday 30 October, according to the official Click Frenzy sales calendar — a sharp break from its usual mid-November slot, and exactly four weeks before Black Friday.
Why the date moved
It's been a turbulent year for the business behind the sale: Click Frenzy went into liquidation in late March, was bought out of receivership by new owners in May, and relaunched with a week-long EOFY event in June. Under the new ownership, the flagship Main Event has shifted forward from November — last year's ran 11–14 November — to late October. Most third-party sale calendars had pencilled in mid-November, so the October dates are easy to miss. Consider this your correction.
What to expect
Historically the Main Event is a four-day, online-only sale with more than 100 Australian retailers taking part. It's strongest in the categories this site covers: consumer electronics, tech accessories, small appliances and homewares. Sustained discounts typically sit in the 20–50% range, with a limited number of deeper “doorbuster” offers that go early. Deals usually start appearing from around lunchtime on day one, and some retailers kick off their own offers a day ahead of the official start.

- One notable absence: The Good Guys says it no longer participates in Click Frenzy, running its own promotions instead
- Four weeks later: Black Friday lands on 27 November

Click Frenzy or Black Friday: buy now or wait?
For small appliances and tech from Australian retailers, Click Frenzy discounts can match Black Friday depth — and stock is generally better in late October. Black Friday remains the broader and deeper event overall, so the rule of thumb is simple: if a product you've been tracking drops clearly below its typical price during Click Frenzy, take it. If it doesn't, Black Friday is only four weeks away.
