Win a double pass to Chappaquiddick (the movie, not the island)

| |

Anyone familiar with the Ted Kennedy staffer drowning scandal in 1969 on Chappaquiddick Island, Massachusetts (or the brilliant Black Water by Joyce Carol Oates written from the perspective of its victim Mary Jo Kopechne), should want to see this film based on its real life events.

Chappaquiddick, its producers say, is a “piercing re-examination of the true events surrounding the most difficult seven days of Senator Ted Kennedy’s career when he drove off a bridge, ending the life of his passenger Mary Jo Kopechne, a promising political strategist who had worked on his brother Bobby Kennedy’s presidential campaign the year prior”.

The film is directed by John Curran (TracksThe Painted Veil) from a screenplay by Taylor Allen and Andrew Logan and features Jason Clarke (as Ted Kennedy) and Kate Mara (as Mary Jo Kopechne).
