Nine lives. Four infidelities. Two missing persons. One abandoned stiletto.
“A play of shimmering, iridescent beauty, revealing the marvelous in the everyday.” — FINANCIAL TIMES
Under the oppressive heat of an Australian summer, a chance encounter triggers a series of events that cause nine lives to intersect, four lovers to contemplate infidelity, and two people to meet an unknown end.
Andrew Bovell’s Speaking in Tongues, which inspired the hit 2011 film Lantana, is an intriguing tale of estrangement, dangerous obsession and unspoken truths.
