ABC expands arts and culture content on iview

The ABC is expanding the arts and culture content available to watch on its free iview streaming platform.

Over 40 works of ballet, opera, theatre and classical music will be rolled out over the next six weeks. They include Bangarra Dance Theatre’s Ochres, the Australian Ballet’s Romeo and Juliet, Sydney Theatre Company and Malthouse Theatre’s production of Michael Gow’s Away and the Sydney Philharmonic Choir’s performance of Handel’s Messiah.

Other content to come includes Opera Australia’s Madame Butterfly and Carmen, and classical concerts from the Queensland, Tasmanian, West Australian and Melbourne symphony orchestras.

They join documentaries including James Bogle’s Whiteley and Richard Lowenstein’s Mistify Michael Hutchence, which are already up on iview.
